Since I’m stuck with some downtime waiting on a replacement rear spar doubler, I decided to use the time to do a fun little side project. The tool kit from Cleaveland came with a practice project – a phone holder. Of course you have to put it together first 🙂
This seemed like a great way to get a little practice dimpling, drilling, squeezing, and riveting. It turned out to be a fun little project. It’s only about 5 pieces and a dozen rivets but by switching up dimpling and riveting methods I was able to get a very crude idea of how to use the different tools. Now…….. back to waiting.
